An easy read to pass idle time despite the editorial errors. Surprised at the author's ignorance in assuming that blacks and Jamaicans in particular, are uneducated, savage and feeble minded. This is very far from the truth
As with all of the Fergus Hume books I've read I enjoyed this one from beginning to end. There are many twists and turns to keep the reader thinking.
I have already reviewed this book at least once. Nothing has changed
Nearly unreadable do to the multitude of typos. Doesn’t anyone proofread these copies before printing? I will not be buying any more books by Ferguson Hume.
The story was great, but the spelling was horrible! I have never seen so many misspelled words in one book. Needs an editor to correct before releasing the copy.
A very comfortable read. Well developed but predictable characters. Lots of typos. It presages all the suspects gathered together at the end to reveal the killer.

There were soooo many typos!! Poorly transcribed. For a while I thought another character was randomly appearing but I figured out that it was a main character's name misspelled. The word "oil" instead of "all" , words weirdly hyphenated with capital letters inserted. Too bad but at least this one was free.
